Thanks Mike, that was a far more politically correct version of what I was getting at.
I understand that some people wouldn't want Altius to have a monopoly on pole vault teaching material, but there is a reason why his book is world famous, it is the best.
Other DVDs and reading material can be really helpful after you have a solid idea of the Petrov model, if only to help reaffirm the ideas you have read in Beginner to Bubka or just for a hearty laugh at the way some people teach.
Anyone who vaults or coaches well should not be offended by my previous post.
