Where do I go from here?? Help

Unread postby STC_VAULT1 » Thu Feb 26, 2004 11:52 am

Hi, I have been vaulting for about a year with a PR of 9'0. The thing is I cant seem to get past that, in this past week I have been getting completly upside down on the pole which is cool but I need to be able to turn from that. I'm just stuck on how I can get any higher and is getting totally upside down a good thing, I was a gymnast for 10 years so I have the strength, But i just want to get past 9'0!! Help please, any suggestions would be super great. runner_chick2002@yahoo.com

turn up is the last thing to worry about at 9'0. Try working on your run and your plant and your run and even some on your plant. Bigger poles=higher heights! With a good run and good plant (speed and strength as well) you will be able to sit over 10ft. Plus your turnup will better with run, plant, takeoff and bigger poles, the pole you are on right now probably doesnt do a whole lot for you. good luck remember run and plant. speed!
