New Pole

Unread postby mecotto95 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 2:12 am

So my athletic director has suddnely taken an interst in me? Don't really know why but he wants to get me a new pole. I am currently on a 120 11' Lady Rocket, and i weigh 120. I can bend this pole but I'm not comfortable with it because I haven't properly learned how to use the bend to my advantage and I know I want to stay at 11' but I don't know what type of pole I should get. And I'm just really lost. #beginnerpolevaultprobs

The next rocket pole would be a 11' 130#.

Just so you know, I had a freshman boy clear 9'6" holding 10'6" from four lefts a week ago with no bend. My point is that his technique is pretty good. Work on your run, plant, takeoff, and swing. When these things get better, you will be able to clear at least 10' on those poles.
