Yeah that last drill that Vaultpurple mentioned - we do that a lot at the start of our sessions.

It gets you used to working the right arm plus help you focus on your trial leg

So I have a question because my trail leg notoriously is always bent.

You guys are saying that I should be jumping forward not up? That if I jump up it will make my trail leg bent? Is this correct? because I do try to jump up as much as possible and I thought this is what is desired in the Petrov model.

Jump up! Vaultpurple is correct your run-up takes you forward.

Long Trail Leg

Exactly...get yourself on a highbar. Also do swing-ups on the rings. Once you do it on the highbar and rings, then you know you can keep a long trail leg. So then go back to vaulting and do it there.
