Hippler, Skipper set JO records

The Clackamas Review, Jul 15, 2009

ADVERTISEMENTS

Oregon City track and field standouts Jared Hippler and Greg Skipper continued to make waves over the weekend.

Hippler, who graduated from Oregon City High School this year, cleared 16-3 in the pole vault while competing in the Junior Olympics Region 13 Championships at Willamette University. His effort earned him a gold medal and bettered a Region 13 young men’s (ages 17-18) record that had stood for 16 years.
