Does anyone going know whether the athletes need to register as a USATF member (or whatever the designation is) for liability purposes in order to compete at the NW Pole Vault Festival competition?
If so, can it be done on site the day of the competition, or does it need to be done in advance? And what is the cost please?
Can the coaches jump too if they want?
Thank you.

Yes, they need to be a 2007 USATF member before they get there, as do you if you want to jump.
It needs to be done in advance. It is $20 or so for youth and $30 for adults from http://www.usatf.org/ you'll get the 2007 number immediately.

I don't know what hotels are nearby, but Rick said people can crash at his building, and he will get us access to Clackamas CC for showers and such.
There is no running water at the building, just a port-a-potty outside.
I'll probably camp out there.

if you are interested in camping out at the building, make sure either myself or Rick baggett knows, so we can be sure to get access to CCC all figured out for showering and such. If you don't want to stay at the ware house, there are some hotels around. Just let us know so we can help you to come play
