Matt Willingham of Cape Girardeau Central posted a winning vault of 15' at the Poplar Bluff Invitational on April 28th, 2006. His 3rd attempt at 15'7" to beat the Central PV record of 15'6" (jim Fox) was unsuccessful by a very narrow margin. This was a new PR for Willingham (jr).

Matts senior teammate, Lance Altenthal, posted a new PR of 14' at the Jackson (MO) Invitational on April 8th.
