My son is 12(considered 13 by AAU and USATF for upcoming club season) and this will be his second year of club track and field.
Last year he competed in high jump, discus, shot and javelin. His two primary coaches (one from the team and one private coach) who do not know one another both keep mentioning that my son may make a good decathlete once he is old enough(15) and are suggesting I steer him in that direction.
With that said, I would like to find a coach, camp or clinic that is for beginner pole vaulters. I would like to get him exposed to and working on that event ASAP. any suggestions?
Thank you
