Can we get some updates on nick's progress? After rockin' USA's I want to rally this guy to make a 60 somewhere and take his biz to the streets in Daegu. Go Nick!

When I first got back from USA's I traveled to Phoenix a few times to jump at Dean Starkey's place since he was the only one in the area that wast hosting sanctioned pole vault meets. I came really close to hitting the standard twice, but I just didn't have big enough poles. I was using Jake Arnolds spirit poles at USA's and then borrowed Ashtons pacer carbon pole when I ran through the spirits.
Anyway, we finally got some pacers in two weeks ago and have just been trying to adjust and get some good training in on them. My coach and I heard that the OTC was going to host a "last chance/tune up" meet just before the deadline, so we figured since we'd be out here in Cali, why not see if Yokayama can sanction a meet for us at Mt. Sac.
So that's the plan! We're going to jump Thursday night in Mt. Sac and if things don't go we we'll have a last shot at the OTC on Saturday.
It's been an incredibly stressful past 5 weeks. I came into USA's as an underdog with nothing to lose and now there is this pressure to make a bar with so much riding on it. I think the best thing to do at this point is just relax and jump the best that I can right now.
Hopefully I'll have some good news for you this weekend!
