Bryant Wilson comes up a little short on that third attempt and is done.

Brian Mondschein up for his first attempt. Wind starts swirling a little but it's tail when he goes. Crowd starts a clap (they probably think it's his third, 5-alive is confusing).

Blow through.

Frawley up. He had told his coach that if he got that tailwind again he would move up poles. He stands on the runway and the wind dies down, so he switches poles (I assume grabbing the smaller one) but knocks off the bar on the up again.

Big clap for Frawley, looks like he went up that pole, but he comes off the top awkward and it's a miss.

Bar to 5.55, 17 athletes remain, 11 cleared the last height.

Hollis will be up first, Walker definitely jumping at this height. I believe he is going from 6 lefts, but I saw some good warmup jumps. I've seen him clear 5.70 from 5 lefts (in a meet) so the short run shouldn't hold him back too much if he feels OK.

Walker takes one step, stops, backs up, adds more chalk and sticky spray to his hand, yellow flag raised...

6 lefts, smokes 5.55!

The mere mention of Skipper's name gets a cheer from the crowd and a clap started. Tommy starts his run, then stops and starts over.

Yellow flag (meaning he was about to run out of time) and a run through. Still a tailwind.
