while that is true, these are meets where everyone is peaked and ready to jump high. so why not give them the best conditions possible and let them have fun

I agree, but at the same time. Mental toughest! The 3 women that make it to worlds need to have that quality. Because you never know what conditions lay in Japan. And I would bet dollars to donuts that the “switching the pit" would never come up at worlds.

She has had a rough time the last couple of years. I'm sure she is pretty disappointed with how this turned out.

Thats to bad for Stacy.. Your the best Stacy!

Yes, Stacy is super bummed she is not competing.

We begin! Bar is at 4.20, Tracy O'Hara misses, hitting the bar on the way up.

April Steiner has to muscle it on the top of the vault, and hits it on the way down, but the bar stays up.

Jenn is passing the first two heights.

I am not even going to try to take pictures.

Jillian Schwartz has a nice clearance.

Lacy Janson looks like she is only running from 6 lefts. She has her usual takeoff, but ends up putting some height on the bar and clearing easily.

I dunno if Brysun Stately is even here, I haven't seen her.

Katelin Rains bails out.
