At our camp this weekend Mitch Greeley joined the 16ft club in our PR meet with a vault of 16' 6". He had plenty of height on it too. His previous best was 15' 8". He was running from 7 lefts on a 16' 180 CarbonFX, holding at about 15' 4" (14'8" in the box). He jumped 16' last night for his school also. I'm looking for Mitch to make a good run at 17ft this year.
Mitch signed early with Clemson University.

Mitch is very comfortable between his hands. And like Earl Bell said a few years ago, "If ever there was anyone born to vault, it's Mitch Greeley." You must have talked to Jeff since the camp. Jeff was great... as usual.
We got a lot accomplished during the camp and had a great followup in our Charleston area session yesterday. I expect many to PR, and a lot of school records to fall, during the next few weeks.

Yeah me and brandon took a trip down to ASU thanks to Lon. The nicest group of people you will ever meet.

In a PR meet, over a crossbar. In the camp PR meet we give one mulligan to each vaulter, Mitch did not use his. So, was it in a "certified meet?" No. Was he representing his school? No. But it was in a meet with a crossbar and countable as a PR for him. He will not receive credit on any national lists for it though, since it was a handicapped meet. But a PR none the less.
Way to go Mitch!
PPR!!! MULLIGANS ???

My step dad told me he played the other day and shot aweful. I asked what he meant by aweful, I figured maybe he shot a 90 or 95. He said he lost 15 balls
. LOL That's the worst I have heard of. He said the greens were elevated and hard, and most had water by them. He must have spent as much on balls as he did the round of golf. LOL

luckily here in az there isn't much water, and I don't mind hunting through the desert for my ball, I just have to watchout for the javlinas, rabbits, and roadrunners, and the occasional rattler
