List of Meets to Attend

Unread postby bushy_12 » Tue Apr 01, 2008 5:01 pm

I know that there is the National Scholastic Indoor Championships and the Nike Championships, but can someone compile a list of meets which would be good to attend for experience and prestige?

Also, do the qualifying jumps have to be made at a large meet, like at County or Region?

Thanks for the help.

Where do you live and how high do you jump?

I am located in Georgia and I got a PR of 13'4" yesterday, but I was on a new pole and should be able to get higher in the next week or so.

You should look into competing in the USATF Junior Olympics this summer. http://www.usatf.org/

Also keep your eyes open for beach and street vaults in your region, they get posted on this site.

Nike Outdoor Nationals would be a good one to work for, you have a few feet to go though.
