McNeese State is searching for persons who would like to serve as track meet officials

McNeese State will host two outdoor track and field meets in the spring and the university is searching for persons who would like to serve as meet officials.

The Cowboys Relays have been scheduled for March 31 and the Cowboy Invitational will be held on May 12.

"We are looking for members of the community with a passion for track and field who would like to help us make these events a tradition at McNeese," said assistant track coach Brendon Gilroy.

He added that the university was interested in starting a McNeese track and field officials association.

A meeting to form such will be held at 9:30 a.m. on December 9 at the McNeese track. Those interested are requested to contact the McNeese track office at 475-5278 or by email at bgilroy@mcneese.edu.
