We're working on getting some digital video so we can post it on our website. Spencer's running from 82 feet. That's 14 strides (7 lefts) for him. We toyed with a longer run, but the only significant result we got was a larger margin of error in step consistancy. Shorter run = less energy per vault = more quality vaults per session/meet = higher vaults. This might not work for everyone, but Spencer is pretty quick and accelerates over the take-off. Most of our practice time is spent working on different phases of the vault from a short run(4 lefts).
