South Carolina All-Comers Meets in June

Hello all,
I am in the process of putting together 2 meets at the Univeristy of South Carolina, most likely June 3rd and June 8th with the help of Rusty Shealy (RSPVSport). The meets will be qualifiers for anyone trying to get to USA's seniors or juniors, or anyone who would like to jump, but being geared toward qualifying the height progression and sections will be set up accordingly. Later in the summer we will host more All-Comers meets as well. They will be USATF Sanctioned meets and most likely held at our indoor facility so weather will not be an issue. If you are interested in Jumping please send me a PM or email me at chrissteddum@hotmail.com. I will probably have all the details and the final go ahead by early next week, but I wanted to start to get the word out so if anyone wants to come jump they can make plans. I will post any finalized info as soon as I know. The meets are not 100% yet and the dates could possibly change, but they will both be in early June.

Thank you for hosting a great pole vault competition. If any vaulter has the opportunity to jump at the University of South Carolina, I highly recommend it. Chris Steddum and Rusty Shealy do fabulous job with their meets. The competition was held indoors and the conditions were ideal (fast runway, big pit and poles available if needed).

Thank you very much, I am glad everyone had a great time and we even got some PR's which is always awesome. The great turnout will make it possible to continue to host some more meets for everyone. I will post some results tonight.

We will also have another meet next Saturday or Sunday. I will let you all know the date as soon as it is finalized, and it will likely have a similar start time around 4:00-4:30.

Don't forget as well the Summer Camp Rusty is hosting with World Class coaches and lots of great jumping, it won't be one to miss.

We will be having a third meet on Sunday June 11th, 2006 and will start at 4:30PM directly after Coach Shealy's clinic.

The order of this meet will be Elite at 4:30 followed by Open/Girls then Open/Boys.
