Women's Track and Field To Host All-Comers Meet

Meet to begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, Jan. 23.

Jan. 14, 2004

The Clemson women's track and field team will host an Indoor All-Comers Meet on Friday, Jan. 23 at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field facility. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM and will be conducted on a rolling time schedule. The entry fee is $10 for an unlimited number of events, while there will be a $5 entry fee for spectators.

There will be no pre-entry for the meet, as entry fees will be paid at the door and athletes will report directly to the event location for the field events where they will be assigned to flights. For the running events, athletes should report to the start line. Races will be seeded on the spot with lanes assigned based on reported seed marks. The meet will be USATF sanctioned and will be conducted according to USATF rules.

The Clemson indoor track and field facility is a six lane Mondo Super X oval located adjacent to the Rock Norman Outdoor Track Complex, and features concrere throwing circles with two pole vault pits, one high jump apron and two horizontal jumps runways. Personal implements are encouraged, but a limited number of indoor implements will be provided for general use. No hard shell weights will be permitted, and implement weigh-in will be conducted adjacent to the throwing circle.

For more information, please contact meet director Glenn McAtee at (864)656-1942 or by email at gmcatee@clemson.edu.
