All Comers Meets @ The Woodlands High School

Unread postby Bubba PV » Fri May 20, 2005 6:27 pm

The meets are every Tuesday through June 28 with the vault at 6:15. Running events are at 7 PM, not that it matters to most of us. One long runway with two big pits for $5 entry. The school is 40 miles north of Houston off of I-45 on Research Forest Drive (4 miles west of I-45). The first one was this past Tuesday and it was great. Hope to see you there! Bubba

This meet is open to "all comers". I saw a five year old kid finish a 200m to a standing ovation. Next week my two training partners (both 71 years old) are jumping. One pit has two sets of extenders and starts at 5' 6" and the other pit starts at 10'. The "low" pit was won at 11' and the "high" pit was won at 15'. The field is wide open and everyone is welcome. Thanks for your interest!! Bubba

Hey Bubba,

Wish I lived close enough to participate. Some day I'll get to jump
with you and your friends. :)
