NB vaulter Koenig pens with UH

New Braunfels pole vaulter Laura Koenig is about to see four years of hard work pay off.
It’s not that the senior isn’t excited about her immediate future, which includes her fourth trip to the regional track meet and possible third straight appearance at state. She’s perhaps even more enthralled with getting a scholarship to attend the University of Houston.
Koenig, flanked by her family and coaches, signed a letter of intent Tuesday to attend UH.

I'm all for having an annual Loko Vaultfest. You could bronze her helmet and give it to the winner each year. Pass it around like the Stanley Cup. Since she's from NB, you'd have to vault in lederhosen or with a tube around your waist to be eligible.

I like it!!! Any requirements on the size of the tube you jump in??? This would be great at the Allison Ranch!!!
