Texas Pole Vault Corral / Roundup Jan 7 and 8 Joshua, Texas

Unread postby TXPVCOACH » Fri Dec 03, 2004 3:28 am

Before I get into the TexasPoleVault Roundup and Corral, Altius is sponsoring a meet in Forney Texas on Saturday December 18th!!! More info and online registration is up at TexasPoleVault Website

It looks like we are going to have a pretty good jump here on Jan 8th in Joshua, Tx. We have quite a few elite men and elite women coming in to jump along with all the HS, College and Masters jumpers that signup. This is the second iteration of last years TexasPoleVault Tuneup. We have renamed the Competition to the TexasPoleVault RoundUp. Essx, Altius, TexasPolevault, Catapole and PORTaPit are getting together to set this jump up. If you are in the area or even if you are not and you want to come have a good time...Come on down!!

We will have a mini PV Development session prior to the competitions on Saturday. Earl Bell, Daniel Ryland, Bubba McLean and other elites will be sharing information with all the attending vaulters.

On Friday Night ESSX is sponsoring a Barbecue and will have speakers talking about pole manufacturing , flex tests etc.

The list of elite competitiors is growing. I am in the process of bringing up a site with all the info and will update with elite jumpers as they confirm their attendance with us. Should be in pretty good shape by this weekend.

Last year the Texas Tune Up was a blast! I recommend this event to everyone. Not sure If I'll make it this year.

Kevin, You better make it back this year... You are the reigning champion! You and Hartwig... I talked to Earl the other day and he said Jeff was busy having a baby....He needs to do a better job of scheduling....

On the serious side we are going to have a pretty good elite jump!!!

I hope you can make it!

Just 4 days left to Pre-Register. Elite Competetion looks great. Allready singed up are Tracy Ohara, Dana Ellis-Buller, Erica Bartolina, Tye Harvey, Jim Bob Davis, Russ Buller, Daniel Ryland, Sean Brown, Bobby Most, Bubba McLean, Paul Litchfield. Also signed up over 60 juniors, high school, college and masters jumpers. If you want to jump we will find a division that is right for you. Lots of fun with some good early season vaulting.
