Christmas Break Pole Vault Camp

with Coach Alan Launder

author of "From Beginner to Bubka and Isinbayeva Too!"

Saturday, December 20-Sunday, December 21

Lone Star Pole Vault Ranch, New Braunfels, TX

Coach Launder has written what many consider to be the "Bible of Russian-Model Pole Vaulting" based on his longtime friendship with pole vault world record holders Sergey Bubka and Yelena Isinbayeva, and their legendary coach Vitaly Petrov. Prior to writing the book, Alan was a coach for the Australian Olympic Team as well as the National Event Coach for Pole Vault in Australia. Alan has coached for over 50 years around the world, had athletes compete in the Olympics, and has been published numerous times for his cutting-edge articles on pole vaulting technique and coaching.

ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOME, beginner, intermediate, elite. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME, young and old alike, no age limits - elementary, jr. high, high school, college, post-college, masters, etc... Alan may be the person who can inspire that next "level-change" or "breakthrough" you've been waiting for.

Camp begins at 10am on Saturday and ends at 4pm on Sunday. This is an overnight and commuter camp. Sleeping space in our heated bunk rooms is limited to 10 girls, 10 boys with chaperones. Our camp is limited to 30 total campers, overnight and commuters combined, so sign up soon before space runs out. Online registration is available at http://www.lonestarpv.com/camps.htm with PayPal payment, or if you prefer you may mail us a check along with the registration information requested on our website.

Cost is $225 for overnight campers and includes lunch and dinner the first day, breakfast and lunch the second day, and Beginner to Bubka DVD (a $40 value alone). Commuters are $185 and includes the DVD, but they are responsible for all their own meals and lodging. 50% discount applies to any siblings attending.

Personalized signed copies of the book, From Beginner to Bubka and Isinbayeva Too, "the modern bible of pole vaulting," will be available at the camp for a special purchase price of $30 (normally $60).
