Greaves adds another track title

Kenny Greaves admits that giving up football and focusing on track in college wasn’t an easy decision.

But with another track medal last weekend, he’s getting a little more confirmation on his decision.

Greaves, who graduated from Coppell High School in May, won the Texas’ Greatest Athlete Decathlon, which was held Saturday and Sunday at St. Mark’s School in Dallas.

The former Coppell quarterback is looking forward to more performances like that at Texas, where he signed last month to compete on the track team. He had offers from several Division I schools, including Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
