Is this event held yearly?

I'm usually around Northern California during that time of year so I can probably make the trip down. I can't make it this time but maybe next year.

Yeah, it is held yearly. Last year I couldn't go because it was my first year of vaulting and I had no experience. Now I know A LOT more than I did last year, mainly because of PVP, and got the money to go. It's 120 now BTW.

Well, I was actually gonna go to the UCLA one at first, but last second my ride was gone so I'm probaly gonna go to this one now. It's on the weekend too. I didn't know that.

Well here's my take on the camp:
Brian is a GREAT coach, he knew what he was talking about and explained it very thoroughly. There were a lot of coaches and assistants, so everyone got a lot of individual attention, plus we learned the basics (the beginners) and the more advanced group probaly got more into detail what the Petrov model is. I got there everday at around 10am, as my ride was one of the instructors, and got to vault with the Mt Sac guys, who are really nice and know what they are talking about too.
I was disappointed in myself because I spent most, if not all of the three days just getting the rust off me and shaking off the bad habits that I used to have. However, on my last vault of the day, I got fully inverted (although a little wide), which was one of the things I was aiming for this weekend. I realized how soft I had gotten from last season as well, but I know I'll get my grit back after a few falls.
Overall, great camp, good learning experience, it did wonders for my pole run and better understanding of what I have to do. My job now is to execute.

Split, who were you at the camp? which group did you go with? i was in the advanced group, wearing a wife beater today. haha


brian was a little nerdish. haha i mean, he definately knew what he was talking about but he was loading our heads with so much info and its so technical that it just overloaded me. i just have a preference for the coach that will just show you what to fix, one problem at a time while you're vaulting.

i was exhuasted today man. i was sore and hurting almost everywhere. i just want to know what the last bungie was at, for the pit that was on the track. people said 12. if that was 12, then i'm pretty proud of myself because i killed that on a small pole.
