Olympic Track and Field Clinic

Granada High School Track has teamed up with the athletes of Tri-Valley Athletics, Inc. to bring you an Olympic quality multi-event clinic. You will be able to choose from a variety of activities, instructed by Olympic athletes and coaches.

The Events that will be highlighted:
Sprints / Hurdles / High Jump / Discus / Shot put / Pole Vault / Long Jump /Distance

Here are just some of the coaches that will be instructing:

Coach Dan Pfaff: One of the most versatile and respected coaches in track and field in the world today.
Coach Pfaff has trained over 33 Olympians, now the elite training coach for Tri-Valley Athletics.

Coach Terrence Mahon:
Head coach for Team USA Running, Coach Mahon led Deena Kastor to her sub-2:20 performance in the London Marathon last April and coached Ryan Hall to an American record in the half-marathon. 


Amy Acuff, 3-time Olympian in the High Jump

Suzy Powell-Roos, 2-time Olympian in the Discus and American Record Holder

Tye Harvey, 2004 Olympic Alternate in the Pole Vault, 2001 World Indoor Silver Medalist

Yoo Kim, Olympian & Korean National Record Holder in the Pole Vault

Stephanie McCann, All-American Heptathlete and 2004 Olympic Pole Vaulter

Joe Cebulski, 2006 Member of USA/Germany Team, Decathlete
