Peninsula vs Washington on 5/6

Boys

Wes King - 14'
the 2 dudes from Washington both PRd at 13'

Girls

Laura Jones - 8' 6" PR
Amber Williams - 8' 6" PR
Magan Stang - 8' PR
Katy Six - 8' =PR
Aleesha Wilson - 7' 6" PR
Valerie Lehman - 6' 6"

Wes is having some trouble with his consistency and his swing, but its encouraging (i guess) that he's jumping like crap and still clearing 14' - 14' 6" consistently. He even almost snuck over 15' at Shelton with a horrible jump, but knocked it off with his hand. I've still got high hopes for him.

Peninsula vs White River

Girls

Katy Six - 8' 6" PR
Laura Jones - 8'
Amber Williams - 8'
Megan Stang - 7' 6"
Aleesha Williams - 7' 6"
Valerie Lehman - 7'
Lacey Boren - 6'
Kaylee Gauthier - 6'

Guys

Wes King - 13' (from 4 lefts on a little pole)
Mark Massey - 11' PR
Rick Dingman - 9' 6" =PR
Andrew Roberts - 9' PR
Aaron Hansen - 8' 6" PR

White River had a girl and5 guys jumping, but i don't remember what they did. Wes has been short vaulting all week and has really done a good job in working out his swing. He's holding so low from 4 lefts that he just can't get upsidedown fast enought o get on top of the pole. He took some 3 left jumps yesterday in practice that looked awesome. I'm hoping it'll translate over into his long approach. if it does, he's going to be putting up some huge PRs.........

lakewood, cedarcrest and archbishop murphy results

Unread postby science geek » Fri May 13, 2005 10:07 am

Girls
Ashley Werner ABM 9'0
Sam Stevens Ced 8'6 PR
Bre Decker Ced 8'6
Chrissy Phillips LW 8'
Jeneca Hoidal LW 7'6
Gina Eckus Ced 6' 6

Boys
Kyle Hamilton Ced 13'
Nick Caldwell LW 12' 6
Chris Kelly LW 11' 6
Tim Lawton Ced 11' 6
Miles Rossow LW 9'

Don't know about PR's for anyone other than the Cedarcrest kids. Kyle went from 13' to 14' 3 yesterday and nearly cleared it. He should PR again real soon. Both Bre and Sam were completely over 9' and just grazed the bar enough when throwing their pole away that they knocked the bar down.
