Capital's Donald Miller placed second in the pole vault with a 12-6, continuing a remarkable comeback after undergoing an emergency appendectomy in the first week of the season. Last week, Miller couldn't compete in the Shaner Invitational because of a strained quadriceps.
"It hasn't been an easy season," Jerry Miller said. "But he's stuck it out."
Shelton's Chris Smith won the pole vault with a 14-6.
