Anybody ever jump at UNC Charlotte?

You can see it on Google Earth but that doesn't tell you anything about wind. Thanks!!

That's funny. Six months before I went to masters worlds (1997) in South Africa, I found a guy over there who researched sunrise/sunset, temperature and humidity averages, etc. for me. We're all sick but at least we're in good company!! LOL!

Bubba,
UNCC is a beautiful facility (UCS Pits). The winds at that time of the year will be calm (very warm). You can run from either north or south. They have two pits on each end of the runway, but will probably use the pit in the middle. Everyone in Charlotte is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The only thing UNCC is missing is a good coastal breeze which I wouldn’t mind having every once in a while.

It is a nice place just north of the city very hot in the summer. I have jumped at UNCC many times only hac a tailwind once mostly from the side. But it is usually not very windy in the summer. Good luck I hope you enjoy NC.

Thanks for the input. I'm really looking forward to it. Being from Texas, it might feel like Fall there. LOL!!
