Anyone know how to get in touch with Gary? I used to vault with him at OSU back in the late 80's early 90's - can't believe he is still doing this, let alone at that level!

Re: Gary Hunter WR Photo Sequence
I have had the opportunity to vault with and against Gary on three occasions. Each time he smokes me by at least 3 feet. Once indoors in Ohio I vaulted 13'6" and he had an off day and only cleared 15. It is difficult to imagine how he can continue at such a premium level year after year but he does. I hope to get some videos of Gary on my new blog polevaulthelp.blogspot.com. Please visit my new blog and see some of my illustrations and pictures and write me and leave pictures and videos for all of us to share.
I retired from vaulting and coaching last year but I am excited about keeping in touch with all my good friends I have made in 40 years in the sport through my blog. Let me hear from all of you out there and please send pics and videos of your masters jumps to the blog. We may not all ever vault like Gary Hunter but it is great that somebody is out there proving that the seemingly impossible can be accomplished. It will be interesting to watch Pat Manson and see how long he can continue. Or how about my old pal Joe Johnston, hats off to him.
See you soon,
Jerry
