The results are coming in and John "Master" Altendorf won the M60 with a jump of 3.80m by clearing on his first attempt. The 2nd place finisher made it on his 3rd. Neither cleared 4m. Bubba

Congrats John
Can't wait to hear all about it, Glad to hear that you were able to overcome the difficult situation of going to a major meet in a far away land and having to jump on borrowed poles. YOU D' MAN

Hello everyone. I'm home after a wonderful trip for 4 weeks in the central and southern part of France. The 3rd World Masters Athletics championships was also a lot of fun and a great experience.

I have updated my personal "results" web page to include links to some video and photographs of the event. There is a short commentary describing my experience during the competition. I may add some more video and photos to it but I can't guarantee that. So for now, I hope you enjoy what is there. And thanks for your comments and interest in my vaulting.

PS When the slide show displays images, if you can't see the thumbnails and the description below the photo, try pressing F11 which will switch your browser to full screen mode. Pressing F11 again returns it to original.

You are My hero! You're running very well and of course your technique was near perfect. ( I would have said "perfect" which to me it was but I know how critical of your jumping you can get. he he) Later....................Mike
