Entries Open - USATF Masters Indoor Nationals - Boston
[quote="souleman"]Wish I could be there with you guys, but the foot and the finances just aren't going to allow me to do it. I'll be thinking of all of you though and will surely miss the get together downtown on Saturday night. Later........Mike[/quote
We'll miss you too Mike!!!! When will we see you again??? (Sounds like a song.)

John tells me he will not be there as he will stay over in France. We wish him another WR!!
Entries to Boston should pick up after the weekend. I always enter early. I figure if I've bought the plane ticket I'm going so I might as well enter. In fact I'll probably enter Spokane in the next few days.
Have fun! Bubba

You guys are going to have to take up the slack. I'll be trying to make my way around southern France. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it . I hope to be on my game at the indoor worlds and represent all you guys well. This will be the first time I've been in an international competition. It should be a great experience, one that I can't afford very often. Of course the dollar is at an all time low against the Euro, just in time to suck my wallet dry.

LOL . Two weeks ago I went online & registered for the meet (or so I thought!). I got a quick confirmation e-mail, and I didn't think twice about it. I continued to train & actually jumped several times (Sunday was my "last" jump session).
Then I went online to look at the entries (wondering whether Gary was going to go twice as high as me). Well, the joke's on me! I registered for the OUTDOOR masters nationals, not the indooor. I'm getting Alzheimer's I presume. Last week I made plane reservations for a 7:00 pm flight instead of 7:00 am, and it cost me $150 bucks to change the reservation.
I suppose that's an indication that I'm just too darn old to be doing this anyway. My wife will be thrilled that I'm not registered.
Good luck guys! I probably won't be there. Say hello to my training partner, Bob Davidson who'll be in the 45-49 group in the afternoon on Sat. Catch his step for him okay?
