Amazing John Altendorf (61 Years Old) Video

Unread postby Bubba PV » Sun Sep 16, 2007 8:25 am

There’s not a more humble and gracious person than my buddy, John Altentdorf. Because of that I had to make a compelling argument for him to let me post this video. Throughout the year we email and critique and work through vault and training issues but this is different.

Like you, I’ve seen his 13’ and 4m jumps but now he’s moving to bigger 14’ poles and his grip is going up. Check out the height John has on 13’ at a street vault in Coos Bay, Oregon. WOW!! AMAZING!! Here’s the first 60 year old man to jump 13’ and now it looks like an opening height. He is certainly not near his potential. Enjoy! Bubba

He IS absolutely amazing! For those of you who may question the validity of the Petrov model, look at the results that John is achieving. As Allen says, "what is technically desirable also has to be physically possible". John has 'em both which is remarkable in itself. This will be the year that he will surpass his lifetime PR. I for one can't wait for that day. Keep it going John! Later.............Mike
