i know in missouri, you need to jump at least 10 to get money...heh...one of the schools in my district has a FRESHMAN girl that jumps over 11 feet...!!!!!!...thats crazy...my district is really competitive. you have to make at least 10 feet to be sure of a place in sectionals (top 4 at districts go to sects, top 4 at sects go to state) while in some districts/sects, girls are winning with jumps of only 7-6 or 8 feet! ...kinda frustrating to those of us who can jump relatively high, but get screwed out of going to sects/state because our district is so competitive....makes me wish they'd change the qualifying standards...maybe top 2 in dist/sects OR make a certain qualifying height...maybe 9 or 9-6?...i don't know...something like that...wow and i just completely changed the entire topic...~.~, must be part of me is still frustrated about my season...
