Way to go man, what you did was ridiculous and i know you will break the record again in june or whenever you do your next dec is at. It suks that no matter what you do or how good you do it , there will always be those kinds of people that are jealous and that will hate on you , but thats life i guess. you are a sick athlete who doesnt need to answer to anyone on an simple online posting. to run a 10. 35 jump 25 feet, throw shot almost 50 and polevault 17 feet in one dec is an accomplishment most people on this post will never acheive in their lives , especially jump 17 feet yeah i said you haters , pole vault 17 feet then open your mouths. just wanted to let you know you got supporters out here along with those haters.

keep up the good work and see you in sacremento

congrats on the NCAA record along with NCAA auto mark AND the USATF Nationals "A" mark as well! you and Kilmartin BOTH hit NCAA and USATF auto marks! Some of us cant even imagine doing what you have done!

Incase anyone missed it, he hit NCAA Regional qualifying marks in:

100m 10.35 (w:2.5)
Long Jump 7.70m (w:3.0)
PV 5.20m
110m Hurdles 13.38 (w:3.1)

he also missed in the jav by 1.6m (5 feet)!

His 100m and 110H times were also USATF nats "B" marks as well!

Not bad for 2 days work. CONGRATS AGAIN!

great preformance. still odd though. the 100m change plus the wind aided times.

They're not wind-aided for decathlon purposes. In the dec they just have to be under 4.0

No doubt the record is now official. But lets just put the shoe on the other foot. If 2 years from now, some guy from UCLA comes up 2 points short of Trey's record at a home meet in UCLA, but AFTER the meet is over and they realize that their home athlete came up a little short they go back and say that the pole vault standards were reading a few centimeters off and he actually DID now break the record............will Trey be happy? I wouldn't if I were him. but hey, records are made to be broken, or so they say.
