Three Men/Women Relays

Unread postby jomrus » Wed May 07, 2003 8:09 pm

How are the other squads doing around the nation? Our guys are pretty good. We have a 16'6'(G Miller), a 17'2 (K Poest), and a 17' (J Russell). Not bad for nothern ohio huh? Obviously BYU has a sick high squad. Just wondering how everyone else has done in outdoors.

I think Arkansas' girls are at 4.20, 4.10, 4.10. They all did 4.10 or higher in the same meet earlier in the season...

How about top 7? :P All 7 of our competing girls have hit the regional qualifier outdoors this season. Next year Michelle and I hope to make that 9 girls qualified to regionals...

my school doesnt match up with Jomrus, but for a Community College were doing pretty well. Myself jumps 4.90( with SUPER close jumps at 5.05 and 5.10- but those dont count) and my team mate jumped at 5.05. According to Vault N Gus, were Numbers 1 & 2 in the nation at Community College level, but im not sure if that list is updated.

I know UCLA has 1-18 footer, 1-17 footer, and about 3-4 guys that have jumped 17 and\or currently are jumping 16-16'6"
good question...

We had a pretty good squad last year. Still not to be bad even with the departure of thorhill, most and mclain.

Last year
5.52 me
5.40 most
5.35 mclain
5.20 mumme
5.20 thorny
5.10 fowler

Now we got one over 5.1, two over 5.20. Not great. but not too shabby.

Steddum 17-9i
Farabee 17-1i
Royster 16-9
Bell 16-1

Not a bad quartet.....you should see them pass the baton!

As I said before......it all comes together at the end of the year. But this is only the beginning of the end.
