This is a little press release I wrote today... I'll put all the pole vaulters in bold.

Several Lindenwood Track and Field athletes were honored at Lindenwood's annual Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 24th.

Pole vaulters Mark Aschen and Becca Gillespy received the male and female Scholar Athlete Award, an award given to the student athlete who has excelled at academics at Lindenwood and been a leader in their athletic program.

Several athletes received the All-American Scholar Athletes Award, for achieving outstanding GPAs while participating in intercollegiate athletics, including Mark Aschen, Cheyenne Gentry, Becca Gillespy, Krzysztof Jakubik, Dave Rabbitt, Jenni Ream, and Kendrick Triggs.

Alicia Saunders was initiated into Alpha Lamda Delta, the national scholarship honor society for first-year and new transfer students.

Dave Rabbitt and Jenni Ream were inducted into the University Honors program, for seniors who have completed 24 hours of honors credits.

Mark Aschen was inducted into Alpha Sigma Tau, which honors graduating seniors who have demonstrated excellence in their studies.

Several track athletes received the LindenLeader Award, which is given in recognition of outstanding achievements in the Work and Learn program at Lindenwood, including Mark Aschen, Lyndsey Eilers, Cheyenne Gentry, Becca Gillespy, Molly Schwab, and Milan Seremet.

Becca, just curious...how on earth do you have time for academics? Seriously, were you a child prodigy or something?

I make time to study. I've actually put a lot of effort into studying this semester, because Lindenwood doesn't look at my grades at other schools, so as far as they are concerned I have a 4.0 and I would like to graduate with that. I also don't have a life right now, but that's a different story :P

LU is also not as difficult of a school as my previous schools, and yeah, I was a pretty bright little kid ;)

Just noticed that Becca wrote,

"I was a pretty bright little kid."

Should there be some commas in there, somewhere?
