North Park University, an NCAA III member of the CCIW (Collegiate Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin), invites applications for the position of Part-Time Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Track & Field for the 2012-2013 school year. The candidate will have competitive and/or coaching experience in the Throwing events (javelin, discus, shot put, hammer and weight throw) or Pole Vault.
The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, with primary duties to include: event coaching (practice and competition) and recruiting. The ability to effectively communicate through oral, written and electronic forms with recruits, current student-athletes and fellow coaches is vitally important. The candidate must actively support the mission of the university, athletics department and track and field / cross-country program.
