The subject line says it all. The only documentation I've got for the claim is a post on the T&FN message board:

Powell wrote:Another interesting piece of info: Ekaterini Stefanidi, who vaulted 4.37 as a 15-year old (she won bronze in Bydgoszcz) is going to Stanford this fall.

The guy that posted it was working the WJC in Bydgoszcz this weekend and isn't known for posting bad info, but like I said, this is the only documentation I've got at the moment.

BTW: I'm not 100% sure that the "Search" function is working at the moment. I tried to search for "Stefanidi" and got no hits at all. Then I tried to search for "Stanford" and got the same result.

I just rebuilt the search database last night, I will have to check it out and see why it's still not working.

When it doubt, just go to google and search whatever words you want plus site:polevaultpower.com

I forgot about this until I saw it in Track and Field News. Looks like she opened up the season with a NH, but definitely another vaulter to watch out for.
