well, the coach should not quit his day job. there is not much opportunity for 5.65 or 5.70 guy.

His coach is Mike Thompson, a former NCAA II Champion in 1989.

Quiller is a really great guy if you ever get a chance to meet him, last time I was in a comp with him he was throwing up in a trash can sick to his stomach, and still showed up to vault going 17+.
For some reason or another the majority of the Quiller family are all fairly solid vaulters... Last I heard his little bro is also going to Binghampton.
I am sure quiller will be able to hit the 19' mark within the not to distant future.

Coach Thompson is a great guy. Only about 5'8" but can bring it from what i hear. He was the first coach i had ever met, back in the day, at Cornell's Summer Track and Field Camp stiff poling 10', wouldnt let me bend a pole until i did so

i think if rory continues to vault he is going to at least break that 19 ft mark. he is focused and smart and theres no reason he cant do it. Great athlete. good decathlete on top of the pole vault.
btw i think he was a 6 step guy in HS.
