it has just been brought to my attention by my compliance director that because there is a prize for the winner in the facebook NCAA pools that this is an NCAA violation. I know a ton of us (including myself) were in the pole vault power pool and wanted to just let you guys know so competing athletes do not get in trouble. The penalty is a loss of one year of eligibility. Word is the NCAA is going to target the facebook pools specifically. Just wanted to let everyone know!

My compliance person confirmed they are not legal.
I did not completely remove the pool, I just removed anyone I believed to be an NCAA athlete from it.
Sadly, I will not be able to participate and defend my title
NAIA athletes, I wouldn't worry about it. In the one in a million chance you win a prize, you should probably not accept it.
