Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Sat Jan 27, 2007 11:36 pm

Scott Roth cleared 5.51 today!

He came in at 5.21, made on his first, passed a few bars to 5.41, made that on his first, then made 5.51 on his second.

Video and interview to come.

Thats great to hear. After seeing him jump at Reno it was only a matter of time. From what i have been told he almost made 561 as well.
He jumped his age at 18. Pretty impressive stuff. Great job Scott!!!

Congrats to Scott! That's got to be some kind of Freshmen record, especially this early in the season. Keep it up!

Skipper has cleared 18'8.75" around the same time his freshman year.

Lawrence Johnson holds the freshman record at Tennessee at 5.70 as well... not sure at what point during the season he jumped it

Scott will not be 19 until late june. My guess is they might have been a year older. I think Skipper has the 18 yr old record at 18' 3"
