shoulda gone to the clemson meet. The Pit is one of the slowest runways ive jumped on in a long time. Plus it crosses the longjump runway which makes for some interesting events. still not a horrible day, lookin forward to going full run on some real sticks (although i gotta get my step out first,, ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED). Any the VMI results

Take off from farther out.
 LOL
   LOL
There's not a shortage of vaulters that run toward a takeoff mark, no matter where you start them from. So no matter where they start from they always takeoff at say 11' 0"
. Vaulters are good enough athletes that they can adjust on the fly. Try setting up your run so that you run the same way "everytime", same footprints, and same takeoff. Take the focus off of your takeoff spot and place it on setting up your takeoff

Good Luck!

Pictures from Clemson meet
Here is a link to a few pictures of our Unattached vaulters I grabbed from video following the Clemson meet. Several good pics of Chase Shealy and Spencer Stephens. I will be doing the same for our high schooler's Mitch Greeley and Adam Callis when I have a few minutes. Enjoy!

24th of January? I may be there with Spencer, I'll have to check the schedule. Chase will be in school in CA then, at Cuesta Community College. He's pretty excited about jumping for Jan.

LOL Yep it's even now. Maybe you two can jump at the Wrightsville Beach Vault. We try to catch it each year. My guess is both of you will be around for a while, so push each other to the top!
