Brad,

Anthony is a paid assistant these days. The way he gets around the rule , is most of the guys and gals are not being recruited by him or anyone else. If he is coaching an elite high school athlete thats when it gets tricky. Guys would have to be jumping over 16' and the gals about 12'6"

Recruited is not what the wording says - "Any face-to-face meeting between a college coach and you or your parents, during which any of you say more than "hello" is a contact. Also, any face-to-face meeting that is prearranged or that occurs at your high school or competition or practice site is a contact, regardless of the conversation. These contacts are not permissible "bumps." - that is from the NCAA Online info - may be a real gray area if someone really pushes the point

Not to mention that no where in the NCAA rules does it mention a recrutible qualifying ht. All high school athletes are "recruits" no matter how good they are.
