Just curious - I might have some poles for ya (in Westborough, MA) but why the switch from Essx to Spirit? I have several poles + slightly larger in those ranges but not all Spirits. Feel free to PM me

hey, well its not really a switch, im a sophmoore and my school has a bunch of ucs spirit poles that are pretty old but ive been using them since I started and me and my team mates were concerned with the condition the poles were in and we ask out AD to get us some ucs poles but he got us essx, i tried them for alittle while and i jsut cant seem to get it to work (not sayin im a great vaulter or anything, im sure they work great for some people), just ucs is what im used to and my pole is lookin pretty bad so im seeing if i can trade one of the essx ones.

Well I have a 13'155 spirit pole which is sitting unused at Lunenburg HS - I can get it back from them and loan it to ya for the season. Our 13' 150 spirit is in heavy use but I did just get 2 new Altius poles - 13'3 150 and 13'3 155 that we'd be willing to lend ya as well.

What town are ya from?

We all have different styles

Yes I am sure if the poles do not fit you properly you will not be satisfied.
As the manufacturer and designer of the ESSX pole I am sorry you do not like our pole.
ESSX poles are not as forgiving as Some other brands. The pole does force you to be tall at the plant as it lifts you. Some people have a technigue of flat plants to crush the pole. If you are not holding in the grip area or too high of a grip for your ability you may not find the ESSX poles a good fit.
Because we ship them in PVC tubes the ESSX will have more resale value than those shipped in Cardboard tubes as they are protected better.

Good luck on your trade you might try camps that like to have a variety of pole brands for people to use and if you are in need of help to adjust please PM me I will be glad to help you.
camps that have ESSX are M-F RI, Bell athletics AR, Lone star TX, Beahmer stick shop OH, skyjumpers CA, Tj Pierce NE, Elitesportz, TX, call if you do not see one in your area.
We have even heard of the competition wanting to see what we are doing and have traded 2 of their poles for 1 of ours !! SMILE

yea, from what ive seen on the forum it seems like good vaulters really like your poles. Its just its mid season and I dont want to have to make any huge adjustements, during the summer hopefully I will be able to get proper instruction and try out an essx and have the time to really vault on it
