Tim Mack book, "Above and Beyond''

"Above and Beyond -- Tim Mack, the Pole Vault and the Quest for Olympic Gold'' by Bill Livingston won the 2009 National Media Award from the Pole Vault Development Committee of USA Track and Field.

While not better than a PR, the book is getting good reviews. Also too late for a jacket blurb is this comment by David Maraniss, Pulitzer Prize winner and author of "Rome 1960'' plus acclaimed biographies of Vince Lombardi, Roberto Clemente and Bill Clinton: "Livingston's book is a treat. His knowledge and love of the sport shine through.''

Yes, I highly recommend the book. I hope to start selling it on the site in the next month or two, we are going to see if that is a possibility.
