18'3 1/4"
In order to jump this high, the athlete will need to use a 16' grip and jump 32 1/4" over their grip. You can lower the grip but you must raise the over grip clearance tho by the same amount.
15'8" grip with a 39 1/4" clearance
15'6" grip with a 41 1/4" clearance, etc
The pole size will have to be more than 20 lbs over their body weight so that they have the support of the pole to get this kind of over grip clearances too.
Thats a fact, Jack.

Over grip....
in 1972 a kid from Witchata Falls Ka jumped 15' 8+ using a 13'4" grip (on the pole) on a 14' 170. Let's see..... 36" over grip.
Hows everyone else doing? It would be intersting to see.
I presented 8 different test at Reno about 10 years ago to determine the training needs of athletes in the Pole Vault event.
For
grip heighth it's 2 x heighth plus a number of inches.
Over grip is what it says
pole size is over body weight.
I have a ruberick from the Eastern Europeans (where Petrov is from) for how high you can go based on these measurement and interesting enuff the ruberick also shows where your weaknesses are. Boy those guys are scientific....
To go 14' - 16' you must (or train to):
40 mtr standing start in 5.0 sec
Bench press 130% body weight
Squat 150% body weight
Travel 42' in 5 alternating bounds
Long jump 21' - 22'
Grip 2 x body heighth + 40"
jump 24" over grip
Pole size is 20 lbs over body weight.
There ya go Joe, the secret is out. I have many more.....
