Spencer McCorkel jumped 17-0 Feb. 4th at the ATCA Indoor Classic at the University of Arkansas Tyson Arena. He had two great jumps at 17-7, barely missing.

Good Work! I think we met at Reno AVC coach, you guys were playing shuffleboard right? Anyway, do you have a video of these vaults?

I though Scott Roth and Jordan Scott attempted the record (17'7") at RENO. That would make three!

Three have tried this year, but Spencer attempted it before they did after he cleared 17-3 in Arkansas in January.

it doesnt matter who was first to try it..that means nothing..first to clear is all that matters and the only person who has come remotly close is roth(by that i mean pretty much cleared the bar)! he is an amazing vaulter and showed it in reno!! thats the way to do it..But mckorkel has had great attempts too! either one of them over it would be an amazing thing to see!

Roth had good clearances in Reno, but so did McCorkle, I say its pretty even. But Roth does have seniority ;)
