The qualifying standard for the women's pole vault at the USA Junior
Championships has been lowered to 3.85/12-7.5.

Yeah I know. I pointed that out to the guy who sent me the email and he said
We have been fighting for the past couple years to have a reasonable
standard for this event, but have been stymied. I think this year was the
last straw (so to speak). In the future, I think we will see a more
reasonable standard (3.80 or 3.85).
I mentioned it to Bill Roe tonight (president of USATF) and he told me to tell him what the standard should be and he would make sure it happened next year.

I think 3.80 would be better.

uhh, I see 19, and I know this list is out of date AND wrong (I know of 2 that should be in there, and arent). And this is HS only! Imagine how many freshmens in college have made 12'6"
