Not to do too much critiquing of a high school freshmen that is jumping over 16' already. But does he intentionally place the tip of the pole on the runway and slide it into the box?

It's hard to keep track, since they seem to break them every year, and you didn't provide these details. Inquiring minds want to know these things!

I know Mondo turned 15 this Nov, but what's his exact birth date, and what was the date of this meet?

I'm just curious if he cleared 16 feet before his 15th birthday or not.

mondo made 15 on nov 10. WR is16'1 1/2 for 14 year old ,he had some good jumps at 16'2" before birthday. His WR string from 7-13 broken at 14. he did go 15'7" before birthday. 15 WR is obscene 17'6". No additional WR at 12 for Jojo yet ,she doesn't get many chances,can't jump in elem school until 7th grade. Mondo starts regular indoors on Jan 10 ,meet at LSU , then on to pole vault summit in reno.
