Mondo Duplantis Update

For those of you who have been looking for a Mondo pole vault update. He has been taking the summer off playing little league baseball. he's in the louisiana state playoffs and just hit his second grand slam in a less than a week. Hopes to make it to williamsport like his brother andreas.

After taking the summer off for baseball,they lost in the state finals,Mondo finally got in a practice at Earl Bell's facility. He jumped 13'1 on thursday and 13'2 on friday. .Both would be PRs if a real meet.

Latest on Mondo. Took off most of 2012 for baseball. For 2013 made 13'6" At Reno, outdoors so far 13'10" and 14'0" today in middle school meet. Good attempt at 14'7".

You never see them at high schools in Oklahoma. Very few. And box collars never.
