17 footers ! ?

Whats the most 17fters in one year in high school rankings? There are 7 this year is that the most ever?

Maybe 1996. There were 4 from just Texas that year (Toby Stevenson, Jacob Davis, Jim Davis, Shane Stewart). Odds are there were a couple of others floating around in other states.

One year at Texas relays there was seven five from Texas and two from Oklahoma.

here is what i have found, 96-4 , 97-4, 98-4, 99-4, 00-2, 01-4, 02-4, 03-7.
i dont think 2 okies have ever jumped 17 in the same season? And i couldnt find the list from 96.

they didn't all jump 17' at the realys but it was Dial and Dennis, Eshbach, Henley, Danners,and few more i can't remember.
